Concerned about covid?

If you have a resident staying with us and would like to speak to a member of our team about how we are protecting your loved one during the pandemic, we are more than happy to speak with you.

Are you still admitting new residents?

We are working with hospitals, health care professionals, local authorities and family members to offer safe admissions into our homes.

To ensure the safety of other residents and staff, we do require a negative covid test result and the resident will be isolated in their room for seven days.

Are you performing covid tests?

Covid tests are being done in our home for staff and residents as per Government guidelines. Currently, these are done on a weekly basis for employees and monthly for our residents.

Can I visit a relative in care?

As you can understand, the safety of our residents is our top priority and therefore we are limiting visits to family members during the pandemic and following closely to government guidelines.

As this is changing all the time it’s better to check with us by calling our team on 01704 533 836.

What about residents wellbeing?

Part of our care commitment to our residents is by taking care of their wellbeing and happiness.

A big part of this is undertaken by our Activities Coordinator who provides meaningful activities for our residents and keep spirits and morale high during this time so the residents don’t feel isolated during the lockdown period.

Residents and staff in our home are like family and we look after our family. Together they share a mutual respect and care for one another and this means that during this time there is always somebody checking in on a resident.

Safety measures in place

We are taking every precaution we can to ensure the safety of our staff and residents. We want everybody in our walls to feel safe and assured that the home is a safe space.

  • All our staff wear PPE in the home at all times
  • We have a strict cleaning regime in place across our home
  • Our staff are regularly Covid tested and we also test our residents
  • Everyday, all our residents and staff get their temperatures taken and recorded
